This painting is for my beloved dog, who passed away after fighting so bravely through illness. He never showed pain, never complained—just strength, resilience, and love, right to the end. His spirit is in every brushstroke of this piece—a colorful, joyful tiger surrounded by hummingbirds, peonies, and figs. 🌿🌸
The hummingbirds represent him so well. These tiny, delicate creatures endure incredible journeys, adapting and thriving despite their size. They remind me of the way he faced life’s hardships—small in body, but with the heart of a warrior. 💖
And the figs… they symbolize the connection we all share. Figs and the special insects that pollinate them are inseparable, just like we were. My dog and I and my family were connected on a soul level, and his presence in our lives taught us so much about love, resilience, and the beauty of being there for one another.
Every day with him was a gift, a lesson in how to keep going, how to bloom even when things are hard. This painting is my way of keeping his light alive—a reminder that even in pain, there is always beauty, always love. ✨
